It is with a great sense of pride and honour that Marshal Tools officially announces their exclusive partnership with Lorenzetti international.
The wholesale tool and hardware company’s initial journey with Lorenzetti began in 2016. Marshal Tools is no stranger to the category of electric water heaters having supplied Southern Africa with similar products for 15 years. It is with this experience and expertise that they planned a collaboration with Lorenzetti to meet the needs of thousands of South Africans who do not have access to hot water through a tap.
In 1923 a civil engineer named Alessandro Lorenzetti established a partnership with Carlo Tonanni in Brazil under the name of Lorenzetti S.A. Indústrias Brasileiras Eletrometalurgicas. After WWII the company faced many challenges which they overcame through innovation and realising what consumers needed. In the 1940s they became the largest factory to manufacture low voltage electrical materials in Latin America. The 1950s saw the brand create the automatic electric shower which they quickly expanded on through the 60s and 70s with the electric shower head. By 1990 Lorenzetti shifted their focus from industrial supplies to the production of appliances for residential use. They would launch the first electric showers with electronic control and built-in pressuriser.
Lorenzetti observed the technological evolution happening during the 2000s and the need for specific household services which is when they created their water purifiers and sanitary metal wares. This would go on to sanitary plastic wares in the 2010s which provided consumers with a durable product at an affordable price. The brand continues to push their technology with their electric shower heads by creating slimmer and innovative designs, which resemble the sleek fixtures of designer sanitaryware brands, but at a cost-effective price. These showerheads serve form and function by providing direct hot water through it with no need for a geyser.
Electric water heaters provide the consumer with a cost-effective solution that also incorporates massive savings in water and electricity consumption. In the average South African home an electrical geyser contributes to 40% of the total home’s electrical consumption. Lorenzetti electric water heaters heat only the water you are using which saves on electrical consumption while the innovative shower head reduces the amount of water used at the same time. The products are easily installed into traditionally powered homes while also suiting the needs of green solar powered homes as well.
